Problems logging in with Internet Explorer 11 KBA3843
When using Internet Explorer 11 and attempting to log into a Mediasite application, you are not directed back to the application properly after entering your credentials.
This is an issue caused by the user agent string of Internet Explorer 11 not being recognized by the version of .NET installed on the Mediasite server. Microsoft has released a hotfix for this issue, which must be installed on the server where Mediasite EX or EVP is installed.
Install the hotfix for .NET version 4.0, which is available here.
An alternative workaround that can be tried is turning on Compatibility View within IE11. This should make the website think that IE10 is being used, which should get around the .NET issue.
