Issue
macOS Catalina (10.15) was released on October 7, 2019, and does not support 32-bit applications. Mediasite Desktop Recorder is a 32-bit application, and will not run on this operating system.
Solution
Our new application Mediasite Mosaic is now available, which supports macOS Catalina. Please see this KB article for more information and a link to download the application.

The user should be presented with the following image when they have Desktop Recorder currently installed and begin the installation of Catalina:
